Cupboard:
Hi, this is John from the Cupboard bringing you another addition of The Cupboard's Artist Insights, from Las Vegas, and tell us how you got started.

Kvon:
I just always wanted to be a glass-blower. Probably from when I was, like, fourteen years old. I just been around a bunch of pipe makers and glass artists and ever since I saw somebody do it, I really wanted to do it.

Cupboard:
We know there are hazards in glass-blowing, what kinds of injuries have you experienced?

Kvon:
Oh yeah, I've been pretty much hurt a lot. I'm also quite clumsy, when I first started blowing glass. I'm actually all burned up right now. A couple years ago I stuck my hand in a flame and melted my hand completely. It was pretty gross.

Cupboard:
Wow. Ouch. Do you want to talk about one of your pieces?

Kvon:
Yeah, this is a dabber. I guess is was inspired, a buddy of mine from the [inaudible 00:01:01] distributing was going to the 710 Cup in Colorado. I just wanted to make some sweet dabbers for him to take, to show off my art.

Cupboard:
The Cupboard would love to help you stay in contact with your fans, and where can we find you on social media?

Kvon:
I'm on facebook, Kvon Glass, and Instagram, Kvon Glass. You can find my glass at the cupboard in Cincinnati. That's where I'm pretty much from and it's a great place. Go check it out.
