El Hefe has been doing lampworking since 2002, and he visited Mike Fro in Vermont and he gained quite a slew of tricks. He stopped blowing glass in 2005 .and he recently got back on the torch late in 2007. El Hefe has collaborated with many glass artists including AKM and others.

This piece is extraordinary in the sense that it breaks the bounds of typical appreciative angles. With expert techniques and massive experience, El Hefe has crafted this gem. Firstly, there is a convex fuming with patterns. With a supplemental layer of guilded linework done in Hefe's classic Borosilicate shade. And Secondly, the piece is faceted on every side to make the piece reflect/project in itself even more intensely! Quite the sleek and ornate piece, but we would expect nothing less from El Hefe.
