Stoke Glass

“I’ve been a lamp-worker with borosilicate glass in Austin Texas since 2004. After my apprenticeship with Joe Blow, I spent a lot of time trying to find my own niche. Guided by my interest in sacred geometry, I developed a unique style of portraying geometric patterns in glass. Found throughout nature, these patterns have been artistically depicted for centuries. I feel that being tapped into this form of ancient symbolism is a constant reminder of how we are all connected and hope to translate that through my artwork.”

“In the past I’ve mainly posted on sites where the activity is glassblowers interacting with each other for inspiration. Those years helped me to build the vision and confidence for what I could artistically achieve. Specifically, I owe very much thanks to Glasspipes.org and all the amazing artists who have contributed. Since joining Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in 2012, I am fortunate to be connected with those who are inspired by my works. Thank you all for encouraging me to live out this visionary experience.”
